Josefina “Ginger” Lozano, a long-time resident of El Paso, died Saturday, March 10th. Born March 15, 1953, Ginger a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister was devoted to her family. She was an avid crocheter. She enjoyed bowling and her adventurous trips to Las Vegas with mom, family and friends. She enjoyed going to the movie theater with her sons and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and she had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
She graduated from El Paso High School and worked in the medical field all of her career until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Victor Cabral, Jr. and grandchildren, who brought great joy to her, Alex, Gilbert, and Brooke Cabral; ex-husband, Victor Cabral Sr.; sisters, Rosario Agee, Norma L. Chavez, Bea Lozano, Gloria Lozano, and brother, Frank “Kiko” Lozano. She is preceded in death by Gilbert Cabral, son; Agapito and Josefina M. Lozano, parents; and Armando Lozano, brother.
Pall-bearers: Alex Cabral, Gilbert Cabral, Richard Lozano, Dwayn Chavez, Anthony Rodriguez, and Jacob Chavez. Honorary pall-bearers are Victor Cabral, Jr., Victor Cabral, Sr., Frank Lozano, Doug Agee.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 15th from 5pm to 9pm with rosary at 7pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 16th at 10:00am at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa, Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery-Alameda, 4301 Alameda.
