He was an Alumni of Bowie High School. Class of 1965, which he lettered in varsity Football and Wrestling. In 1969 he met the love of his life Rosa E. Rosales and were married for 50 years. They had 4 children, Jose " Chino" Sanchez, Julio Sanchez, Rogelio Sanchez and Rosa E. Elorduy. He also adopted his granddaughter, Selena R. Sanchez. He has a son n law Charlie Elorduy and daughter n law Sylvia Sanchez. He has 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
JoJo was an EMT/Paramedic for the city of El Paso, Tx for 25 yrs, were he got his nickname. Continued to work as a front line worker at Del Sol Hospital in the ER, were he was known for his unforgettable mustache.
Jo Jo was involved in his community with his children and started/co-founded youth programs with his late brother, The EMS Lifesavers.
He LOVED his Dallas Cowboys win, lose, or tie.
He inspired our family and friends throughout his life which many followed in his foot steps in the medical field. He will greatly be missed by everyone who he had contact with.
