Jane Ann Bernard died peacefully in her home among family on June 10, 2023. She was 84 years old. She was a Quality Assurance Specialist at William Beaumont Army Medical Center for over 30 years. She loved life and serving every person that God intersected in her life. She touched lives by her example of living and loving the Lord. Jane Ann served in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) as a group leader for over 15 years. She loved books and learning about every person's life experience. Her family meant everything to her. She took every opportunity to share how God had blessed her with a wonderful family. She was a beloved mother, a precious mother-in-law, and a solid rock for her grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all her heart and prayed faithfully for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Paul Bernard, Jr. and her oldest son, Kenneth Wayne Bernard. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Sara Luke, and Martha Romero-Dean, and her great-grandson Ayden.
She is survived by her two sons, Keith (Donnita) and Kevin (Lorraine). She is also survived by Kenneth's wife, Bonnie Bernard. Her grandchildren, Justin (Priscilla), Stacey (Weston) Hadler, Jason (Christina), Kellie (Joselyn), Jacob and Maddie, and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Abby and Jonathan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 21, 2023 9:00A.M.-9:30A.M. followed by funeral service 9:30-10:30 at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Dr. Graveside for family only at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
