Irma Gloria Rosas

Irma Gloria Rosas, our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends at age 64 on December 14, 2011. She lived her life caring for people and was always a pillar of strength and support for her family. As a registered nurse, she cared for many people for 41 years at Sun Towers, Hotel Dieu, Surgical Center and El Paso Specialty Hospital. She is preceded in Heaven by her parents, Ruperto and Enedina Chavando. She is survived by her son Jim Rosas, her daughter Yvonne Gallegos (Javier), her brother Jaime Chavando (Kathy), her sister Laura Chavando (Robert), her three beloved grandchildren, Katrina Rosas, Bo Gallegos and Alazne Gallegos, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Gomez and his staff at Texas Oncology and Envision Hospice and Dr. Castro and his staff. Visitation will be at Del Angel Martin Funeral Home at 3839 Montana on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Alabama at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She will have a private interment. Arrangements under the direction of FDA Martin Central.
