Ignacio A. Ramirez, 74, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Ignacio was a graduate of Bowie High School Class of 1958 and El Paso Community College. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from El Paso Electric after 32 years of service. Ignacio is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bertha A. Ramirez, their children Humberto Ramirez, Maria Gonzalez and her husband, Ruben, and Ignacio Ramirez Jr. and his wife, Cathy. Ignacio is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; Stephen and Michael Ramirez, Ruben and Elizabeth Gonzalez, Angel, Yvette and Ignacio Ramirez III, Angela and Haley Ramirez, his brother, Marcos Ramirez and sister, Teresa Fuentes. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 31st from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:00 am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery with military honors.
