Heather Rose Bell (Enger) passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023. She was surrounded by her family when she stepped into the presence of God. She was a lifelong educator, teaching both throughout the United States and in Bolivia. During her time in El Paso she helped advance homeschooling by founding and serving on several boards for homeschooling organizations. While she served, she homeschooled her three children; who themselves became educators. After all of her children had graduated, she returned to the classroom and was a proud Warrior; a teacher at Immanuel Christian School until her “retirement” (when she homeschooled some of her grandchildren). Heather is remembered as a fierce “Words with Friends” player, an outstanding baker, a devoted gardener, and a prayer warrior. She is survived by her soulmate, Norman Creighton Bell and her three children (Matthew, Rebekah and Daniel Bell). She was the doting grandmother to nine grandchildren who all miss her terribly, and want her to know that they will still mark how tall they are on the wall each and every birthday. Psalm 47:1-2 “Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with a voice of triumph. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth.”
