He was born on July 26, 1955, in El Paso, Texas to Antonia Rodriguez. Jerry was a jack of all trades,
worked for the City of El Paso as a heavy equipment operator, Security Officer at Santa Teresa Country
Club. Jerry also worked many years as a landscaper. He would often say, “I get paid for what I know,
not for what I do”. He retired as a Sous-Chef working in numerous local restaurants. He enjoyed
spending quality time with his close friends and family, and always had something to joke about. He
was never one to be upset or angry, he loved watching football - especially his Cowboys. He now has a
coveted front row seat to watch the “Superbowl”. He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia
Munoz, and grandmother, Casimira Calleros, both from Sunland Park, NM. Those left to mourn are his
sister Lupe and her husband Robert, his brother, Bobby and wife, Patricia, as well as many nieces,
nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Other survivors include Isabel, his aunts, uncles, and cousins
and extended family. Services will be held on 12 Feb 23, 12:30 – 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1460
George Dieter, El Paso Texas 79936. Cremation will take place at a later date.
