Gabriel Fierro

He was born in Big Spring, TX, on July 29, 1940. Gabriel worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier and driver instructor for 32 years, retiring in December 1998.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 58 years, Ana Maria Fierro; his children, Gabriel Jr. (Raquel), Maria Dolores Rios (William), and Alejandro Fierro; and his beloved granddaughters, Anissa Liestman, Andrea Fierro, Jazlyn Rios, and Jenay Rios. He is further survived by his brothers, Albert Fierro and George Fierro, and his sister, Mary Jane Trevino. Gabriel is preceded in death by his parents, Emiliano A. and Refugio Fierro, his sister, Connie Johnson, and his brother, Felix Fierro.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr., in Chapel A-1/Serenity Chapel from 4 pm to 8 pm, with rosary at 6 pm. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr., at 10 am. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
