Dora was born on June 24, 1959, to parents Jesus Jordan and Dora A. Jordan in El Paso, Texas. After Dora graduated from Austin High School (Class ‘78) she went on to study at the Community College of Dental Hygiene.
After graduating as a Registered Dental Hygienist, she worked with Dr. Ivy and later with Dr. Rosas. Her last years working as a Registered Dental Hygienist she worked with Dr. Jose Luis Alvarez at Vista Hills Family Dental.
Everyone who knew Dora knew that she poured her heart and soul into her work and all the people Dora worked with absolutely admired her. There truly wasn't anything Dora couldn’t do; she was extremely bright. From becoming an amazing artistic pastry baker, an excellent self-made decorator, and an outstanding jazz/salsa dancer. Dora had an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She loved her family and friends and filled her home with warmth and kindness.
Dora was predeceased by her father Jesus Jordan and mother Dora A. Jordan, also by her brother Rodolfo Jordan. She is survived by her daughter Marcela Moreno, son Juan Moreno (wife Jennifer Orozco) and grandson Juanito Moreno. She also leaves behind her sisters Carmen Moran, Martha Jordan, and Alicia Saenz. She will be forever in their hearts and missed every day.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 10th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm; with prayer service at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central located at 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, TX 79903. Funeral mass will be held on May 11th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church located at 2709 Alabama St., El Paso, TX 79930
Pallbearer: Rodolfo Jordan, Richard Jordan, Jonathan Moran, David Saenz, Jacob Rodriguez and Iván Rodriguez.
