Cynthia Velia Spencer, 82 of El Paso, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 5th in El Paso, Texas. Her celebration of life will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home at 1060 N. Carolina Drive on November 8th, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
Cindy was born in El Paso Texas to Bertha Rash and William White on November 4th, 1941. She went on to graduate from Ysleta High School in 1960, & graduated from El Paso Community College. She worked for El Paso National Bank & Walmart. Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, & grandmother. She enjoyed painting, camping, fishing, cooking, & making ceramics. Cindy volunteered with the Eastwood Optimist Club, helping with various sports activities for her children, & at Abundant Living Faith Center. Cindy loved the Lord, her family, & many dear friends. She was intrigued by Bigfoot, aliens & enjoyed everything Snoopy. Cindy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Spencer; mother, Bertha G Rash, & her sister Cecilia Marie Reddick of Enid, Oklahoma. Cynthia is survived by her son Robert (Bobby) Spencer; daughter Kimberly Spencer; grandchildren Valerie Blythe Castaneda (Lino Castaneda) & Jaden Possible Spencer; as well as great grandchildren Arriela & Ezequiel Castaneda. Cindy is also survived by her sister Carol Escriche of Texarkana & her brother Carl Rash (Becky Rash).
The Spencer family wishes to extend our gratitude to Dr. Doring, Dr. Demick, Dr. Aloba, Dr Gupta, Dr. Swartz & Telemetry nurses at Del Sol, in addition to the amazing nurses & staff at Regent Care Center. Thank you to all of our family & friends that have helped & prayed with us thru the trying times this past year.
