Cynthia was born in El Paso Texas, on January 29, 1992. She is survived by her parents, Laura and Rodolfo Sanchez, as well as her brothers, Rudy and Christian Sanchez.
A lively, energetic, beautiful soul, Cynthia could be found all over the city of El Paso, helping and working with children of all ages. She was an active church member at Abundant Church, where she found her first teaching job as a Preschool Teacher. She graduated from Socorro High School in 2009, where she was an active Cheerleader and member of many school functions. She was super proud of her graduating class, and always made everyone know she took a piece of her 2009 “State Champion Bulldogs!”
She attended El Paso Community College, where she earned her Associates Degree, and transferred to UTEP, where she was an active member of Sigma Psi Eta, and numerous philanthropy events. She presumed her degree in elementary education, striving to become a Teacher, and eventually a Speech Language Pathologist. During her education career, Cynthia found herself in a position working at Fort Bliss, aiding immigrant children with education, and nutritional needs. She had a heart of gold, and loved to help people in anyway she could.
Cynthia definitely left a piece of her heart in any life she touched. Dancing was her passion, as she started at the age of four in a local Folklorico group Rio Bravo, and Ballet Folklorico Paso Del Norte. As she got older, her skills advanced, and was invited to dance for Viva El Paso with her groups under Rodolfo Hernandez, and Enrique Cisneros. Her last career began at San Elizario Independent School District in January of this year, where she was hired as a Special Education Teachers Aide, and eager to change students lives. She wasn’t able to begin her career, but was called up to the gates of heaven, where we all know she’s rejoicing, laughing, and teaching an abundance of children.
Cynthia will be truly missed, but her laughter, smile and warm heart will remain with us forever. As she always said, “Live, Laugh, and Love Strong!” God Bless
