Cynthia Elaine Haller

Cynthia Elaine Haller passed from this life on November 10, 2024, at her home in El Paso, Texas. She lived 77 years of a life devoted to Jesus Christ, and after a courageous fight against an aggressive form of cancer, she joined Him at her placed at His table in Heaven.

Cindy was born in Dallas, Texas to Darrel and Maurice Friesner. After traveling to many states with her Navy family, they settle in El Paso where she completed high school at Irvin High School and graduated from UTEP with a bachelor’s degree in music education. With great joy, she spent over 30 years teaching music and English to middle and high school student. Cindy was a talented musician who played the piano, organ, and harp. She also became an ordained professional proofreader (Kairos Editing), and she had many of her Christian-based article published in newspapers and magazines.

An avid reader and lifelong learner, Cindy was a talented artist, and she took great pride in creating beautiful quilts and crocheted items, many of which she donated to those in poverty. She joined being outdoors and loved her dogs, Karsyn and Luna.

Cindy is survived by her father, Darrell Friesner, her three sisters – Cecee Stephens, Cathy Stuart, and Cara Harms and families, and her children – Holly Bennett and husband, Ed of Fort Worth, Texas, and Chris Haller of Denver, Colorado. She has five amazing grandchildren – Hunter, Hannah, and Haven Haller, and Kristen and Lynley Bennett. Cindy found great joy in her family and loved spending time with them, often saying her family is her greatest legacy.

Cindy’s family welcomes you to join services celebrating her life on December 4th, 2024 at 9 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West. Cindy’s family requests family only at the graveside service.
