Christian Joseph Contreras

Christian is preceded in death by his father David Joe Contreras, his uncle Francisco Javier Marquez Jr., and his grandfather Francisco Javier Marquez, Sr.

Christian is survived by his girlfriend Cecilia Archuleta and his son Christian Joseph Contreras Jr.; parents Sandy Marquez and Robert Grijalva; grandparents Bruce and Elsa Hoderlein and Estella Contreras (Rigo Salas); siblings; David (Emily), Charissa (Rene), Nick (Becca), Valerie (Poulette), and Sandy Marie (Omar);

nieces and nephews Adrina, Isaiah, Jayden, Rene lll, Makayla, Demi, Andrew, Janae and Jordan; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christian was a beautiful person inside and out, always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family, playing football with his nephews and working to provide for his family. He always made it a priority to spend time with his son, who he’d always call “my boy”. Christian loved watching the Green Bay Packer games and listening to his favorite artist Lil Wayne, and his country music.

Pallbearers will be David, Nick and Valerie Contreras, Rene Rodriguez, Omar Montes, Eric Esqueda, Gustavo Hurtado and Armando Ibarra

A visitation for Christian will be held Monday, April 18, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with Vigil at 7:00pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Scripture Service will be 9:30am Tuesday, April 19, at Funeraria Del Angel Central followed by committal service at 11:00am at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Avenue.
