Charlie Junior Marquez

Charlie Marquez Jr., passed away on March 1, 2015 at the age of 83. Charlie was born in San Francisco California on June 23, 1931 to Esther Izaguirre and Charles Marquez. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife Maria Marquez and Children. His sons: Arturo and wife Brenda Marquez, Juan Carlos Marquez, and Marco Antonio and wife Berta Marquez. His daughters: Victoria and husband Ramon Zapata, Silvia and husband Manuel Gaytan, Patricia Marquez Velasco, Pier and husband Eduardo Farias, Linda and husband Raymundo Montes. He was a grandfather to 21 and great grandfather to 7. He proudly served in the US Army from 1949 to 1969. After serving his country he was employed by YISD for 14 years from which he ultimately retired. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 5:00-9:00pm with recitation of rosary at 7:00pm at Crestview Funeral Home on 1462 N. Zaragoza. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 12:30pm at St. Mark Catholic Church on 11700 Pebble Hills. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on 5200 Fred Wilson.
