My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I am very glad that I had an opportunity to work with Mrs. Salazar, she always encouraged me to finish with my education and when I graduated I had to go let her know. She had a strong work ethic and much passion for the job. She will be greatly missed. God Bless.

My deepest sympathies to the Salazar family. My sister and I knew Sally from our younger days in South El Paso. After I retired from YISD, most of my substituting was at Ysleta Pre-K.  Mrs. Salazar was a great principal . She always made her substitutes feel like a member of her faculty. I have only admiration for her. God Bless . May she rest in peace.

I remember when I first met Liz. We had become neighbors and she was telling me about you. I remember her saying how supportive you and all her family were for her during college. I remember how proud she was of you for your career accomplishments. I've always hoped that I could be more like you. God Bless You.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Salazar as well as to Mrs. Salazar's family. I had the privilege of working with Mrs. Salazar at the PK Center. She was a woman who cared about the children at her school and cared about her employees. She was capable of seeing the potential in all those that surrounded her and encouraged them to better their lives. She was a wonderful woman that empowered women to be the best that they could be. You will be truly missed.

My most sincere condolences to Mr. Salazar and the entire family. Mrs. Salazar was my client for 30 years. As her hairdresser I got to see all aspects of her life. Her work ethic was enviable and to be admired. I was honored to have shared the joyful  and sad moments of her life and she in mine. I miss your weekly visits and I thank you for being such a faithful client.God bless you Mrs. Salazar.

I am truly sorry for your loss, may God Bless Mrs. Salazar and all of her family.  My children attended Ysleta Pre K during the time she was the principal.  My husband and I always felt like our children were safe, our family had such a respect for what an amazing leader she was. She will be dearly missed.

Celia was a close friend and colleague of my mother, Jeanette Haupt, at Ysleta Elementary. I was a colleague when I was in the school district prior to my retirement and also knew Celia when we attending the El Paso Reading Council meetings.  She was a wonderful educator and a strong administrator.  My sympathies to all the family.
