Celia Estrella Perches, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Roman Perches. Celia is survived by her loving children Tom Perches, Josie Valenzuela, Ernesto Perches, Martha Perches and John Perches. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a large extended family. The family would like to thank Celia’s granddaughter, Sandra Perches and Hospice of El Paso for the care and compassion they gave Celia, with a special thanks to Claudia Moreno (RN) and Deacon Juan Alvarez and Maria de Jesus (Jessica) Guedia. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18th from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina, with Vigil at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 19th at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
