Cecilia Blanco Martinez, 86 passed on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Mountain Villa Nursing Home. She is survived by her children, Jose G., Jose A., Rosie, Socorro, Ruben, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and countless lifelong friends.
Cecilia grew up in Monterrey, Mexico and spent the majority of her life in El Paso with her beloved husband, Jose Guadalupe and her daughter Alicia Ortiz who preceded her in death.
She was immensely dedicated to her family and taught us respect, humility and love. It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye, but we will carry on her spirit, strength and love forever.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 12:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery
