Carmen A. Mendoza, 92 our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was reunited with our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 14, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo B. Mendoza, parents Raquel and Bernardo Arellano, and sister, Maria Luisa Mills. She was a woman of great faith and an active member of Little Flower Catholic Church. At 39 years of age she became a widow and purchased the home where she resided over 51 years. Being a single parent she dedicated her life on raising five children. In addition to being a full-time homemaker, she sold Avon in the neighborhood.
Left to cherish her memory are sons; Paul (Alicia), Enrique (Patricia), Carlos, Rodolfo (Irma), daughter, Carmen (Hector) and loving niece Dolores (Cruz) Saucedo. She had 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21st from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Harding Orr & McDaniel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 22nd at 12:00 noon at San Antonio de Padua, located at 7420 North Loop. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
