Carey loved Saturday morning cartoons. Among his favorites were the Justice League, Scooby Doo, and Under Dog. Watching the Monkees, the Patridge Family, and the Archies was karaoke time for Carey. With his homemade microphone and guitar, Carey could be found mimicking the characters in the bathroom mirror.
Carey was an avid bowler. There was so much force in his swing, that everyone would move out of the way for fear of getting hit.
Uncle Carey loved his family. He blessed every new baby with a kiss.
Carey loved going to church. He would mark his pew with his hat and his Bible.
Carey passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 after a brief illness. He was watching cartoons at the time.
