Billy (Bill or B.G.) Carter proudly served his country in the United States Army 1963-1966. He worked in the Oil Fields in Midland Texas, then later moved to El Paso to work for Southern/Union Pacific Railroad. One of his biggest loves was working 40 plus years at the Railroad. Running down the rails, with no fear in site!!! Didn’t matter if it was rain or sunshine, BG Carter would always make it shine!!! To all his railroad Family and Friends, We Love You and Thank You for being part of celebrating his life.
He spent many years working and served on the “EL PASO PEST CONTROL ASSOCIATION BOARD” and was a proud Owner of his own Pest Control Business “Carter Pest Control.” A Businessman at heart, killing bugs in site!!! Taking care of both his people and his clients. “Be Smarter Call BG Carter”!!! Best in the Business!!!
A man of many passions. He enjoyed beating the Casinos out of their money. Sharp as a whip, he could run any blackjack dealer off the table. He preached the golden rule, “Always split A-A’s and 8-8’s!!! A man of great knowledge! As he would always say, “if the money holds out, it will come back around.”
Living life to the fullest in El Paso, he created a legacy raising 3 successful men. He was a mentor, husband, friend and one-of-kind individual. His impact on the world was seen by everyone he met. He stood for integrity, honesty and strong moral values. His influence has reached a plethora of people old & young.
He was a man of strong beliefs and values. He never looked for a handout from anywhere but was ready to help anyone. Most of all he was a very loving and instrumental man in many people’s lives!!! Billy loved life; he had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep positive way. There are countless stories about him always willing to help people in need, especially the underdog.
