Andres (Andy) Carrillo passed away in El paso TX on August 30,2016. He was born to Lupe Cubillos on May 7,1938 in El Paso. He was a Great man and a servant in many capacities. He served in the El Paso Police Department as a patrolman and detective in various divisions for 31 years. He served his community as a leader of Coro Alabare, singing for Cursillo and ACTS retreats and in weekly masses at Corpus Christi Monestery and prayer meetings throughout the community. He helped bring many people to Christ through his anointed gift of music. He was an amazing father to his four girls; Marylou, Lupe, Lydia and Lorena and a devoted husband to his wife Lily for 56 years. He was a true example of Christ among us. Serving others all his life and sacrificing for his family and for his community . He is survived by his Wife Lydia Carrillo(Lily) and his four daughters: Marylou Carrillo, Lupe Carrillo, Lydia Carrillo Montano and Lorena Carrillo Henderson; His 6 grandchildren: Michael Montano, Marie Montano, Matthew Montano, Andrea Henderson, Stephen Henderson, and Anjela Carrillo. He will be greatly missed but we are comforted in knowing he now rests in the arms of Christ. You will live forever in our hearts Daddy!!
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Vigil at 7:00 p.m at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere St., El Paso, TX 79912.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd., El Paso, TX 79912.
