Amelia Terrazas Montez

Amelia Montes Terrazas was born on December 1, 1944 in Galeana Chih Mexico. She was called home by our lord Jesus Christ on October 29. 2015. Amelia passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. The last few years of her life, Amelia was greatly cared for by her daughter Leticia, husband Fred Gonzales and their children. She was born to the late Jose Terrazas and Andrea Arenivas. Throughout her life, Amelia was a very caring and loving person. Always willing to help out not only family and friends, but anybody who needed a helping hand. Although she was strong in character, she had a gracious smile that seemed to lighten up every room that she ever walked into. Throughout her life, she was a wonderful Grandma, Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Madrina and most importantly friend to anybody who had the opportunity to cross her path and meet her. Although she is gone we rest comfortably knowing that she is once again reunited with the love of her life, our Beloved Father and her late Husband, Benny Montes. Amelia is survived by her Loving daughters; Leticia Montes Gonzales, Husband, Fred Gonzales and their children Richard, Robert (lolo) Rianna, Randy, and Grandson Xavier Gonzales, Daughter Cella Hernandez, Husband Frank and their children Veronica, Monica, Donica, Antonica and Frankie Jr. Hernandez, and several Grand-kids. Her son Vince Montes and wife Idell Lujan Montes and their children Vince Jr, Mialonie, and Val Montes, Daughter Diana Montes and her children, Lithius and Lazaro Gomez, Daughter Cindy Montes and her children, Bo Jordan and Katelyn Montes, Daughter Pricilla Montes and her children Paris, Zion and Josekio Montes, Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Crestview Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:30 in St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 12200 Vista Del Sol Dr, El Paso Texas 79936. Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
