Mario, born on March 4, 1992, in El Paso, Texas, was a beloved son, cherished brother, loyal friend, and a proud U.S. Army veteran. Mario's warm heart extended to his role as a loving uncle, and he brought joy to the lives of his nieces and nephew.
After graduating from Ysleta High School in 2011, Mario dedicated four years of his life to serving our country from 2011 to 2015. His commitment and sacrifice in service to our nation will forever be remembered and honored.
Mario had a passion for drawing, watching movies, and thoroughly enjoyed the "Dragon Ball Z" series, reflecting his adventurous spirit. He also liked going to the gym and was an avid sports fan, particularly of football and soccer. Mario found joy in playing video games on his PS5 with his friends, immersing himself in virtual worlds while creating lasting bonds.
Mario was always willing to help anyone in need, in whichever way he could. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and his willingness to offer a helping hand exemplified his caring and compassionate nature.
He cherished time spent with family and friends at get-togethers and cookouts, creating lasting connections and cherished memories.
But what truly set Mario apart was his infectious and unique laugh. His sense of humor extended beyond laughter; he had a knack for discovering and sharing funny memes, bringing joy to those around him.
He is survived by his parents, Agripino & Celia Lopez, his brothers, Jesus (Rebecca) and Luis, his grandmother Sylvia Garcia, nieces and nephew, Emily & Elaina Lopez, Audrey & Aaron Betancourt, Mariel Perez, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers in arms, and friends who loved him dearly.
As we gather to bid farewell to Mario, we remember the laughter, the warmth, and the moments he created. His love for life and his ability to connect with those around him will forever remain etched in our hearts.
In his absence, we find solace in the cherished moments and the legacy he leaves behind. Mario's laughter and zest for life will continue to inspire us as we carry his memory forward.
May we find comfort in the knowledge that Mario's spirit lives on in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Mario, and thank you for the joy and love you shared with us.
