Steven Ray Calk

He was born December 4, 1947 in El Dorado to Dolan Lee Calk and Betty May Morgan Calk. Steven worked as an operator for Great Lakes Chemical Company. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran where he was in the Seabees and he was a member of Blanchard Springs Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents Dolan Lee & Dean Beaird Calk and W.L. & Betty Morgan Barrett and a brother, Robert Lee Barrett.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Calk; children, Michelle Hogue (Tim), Stephanie Rockett (Chad), & Jeremy Calk (Lisa); brothers & sisters, Ronny Calk (Phyliss), Sherry Mizell (Luther) and James Morgan Barrett (Deedee); grandchildren, Whitney Hogue (George), Andrew, Jacob, Clint, & Laura Hogue, Brooks & Braden Rockett and Addison & Jackson Calk; great grandchildren, Reagan & Maleah Williams and one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Blanchard Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hogue and Rev. Doyce Whitten officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. tonight at Blanchard Springs Church.
