Sharon Ann Mc Vay

Sharon Ann McVay, 55, of Smackover, passed away February 24, 2012. She was born October 25, 1956 to M.T. “Bud” Poole and Fannie Bell Poole in McGregor, TX. Sharon was a member of First United Methodist Church of Smackover and El Dorado Chapter 280 of O.E.S.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

Survivors include her husband Ronnie McVay Sr. of Smackover; sons, Ronnie McVay Jr. (Jennifer) of Axtell, TX, Richard McVay and Chris McVay (Tabitha) both of Smackover; sister, Debbie Ramsey (Jerry) of Smackover; two brother-in-laws, David McVay of Waxahachie, TX, Wayne Urrey (Connie) of Bernice, LA; 4 grandchildren, Jacob McVay of Firth, NE, Alyssa Taylor McVay of Smackover, John Fuller and Justin Willie of Axtell, TX; 6 nieces and 5 nephews, 8 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 27, 2012, at First United Methodist Church of Smackover with Pastor Leon Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
