Pat was born on September 14, 1927 in Norphlet, AR; the son, of Nelson W. Hardy Sr. and Lois Inez Smith Hardy. He retired from Phillips Petroleum working at various location in New Mexico, Arkansas and Texas. Pat served our country in the Navy in both World War II and during the Korean Conflict where he received a Navy Occupation Medal. Pat was a life-long member of the NRA. He enjoyed nature either hunting or fishing and time with his family and friends. He spent many hours working at U.C.A.P.S (Union County Animal Protection Society) and was awarded outstanding volunteer of the year before he retired to Clinton AR.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Ollie Mae Pesnell and Lokeel Evert, daughters Susan Hardy and Linda Pat Meador, great grandson Saul Billingsley and his wife June Cordrey Hardy.
Survivors are daughters Ann Hardy of Clinton, Joni Hardy/Jimmy of Benton; a sister Margaret Parker of St Louis, MO. Along with grandchildren Logan Shipp, Jacob Billingsley/Lea and his children Abe and Jack Billingsley, Keenan Billingsley (Katie) and their children Charlie and Blake Billingsley; Hannah Oglesby (Tyler) and their children Sage and Vaughn Oglesby. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 11am to Noon, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Young's Funeral Directors. Graveside services at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens will follow at Noon with Rev. Bill Odom officiating.
