Lynn Rhodes Taylor

Esther Lynn Rhodes Taylor, 44 of Emerson, AR; On April 21, 1971 in El Dorado, AR ; the world brightened for those who knew and loved, Lynn, but dimmed with her loss on May 23, 2015 in Magnolia, AR. Lynn was a blessed gift to her parents Bobby Jack (Rachel) Rhodes and June Esther Harmon Rhodes McLeese, currently of Mountain View, AR and to her late paternal grandparents Tommy and Celia M Rhodes and her late maternal grandparents June and Esther Harmon, formerly of El Dorado.

Lynn was the wife of Daniel Taylor Jr. and mother to her son, Drew and stepdaughters Savannah and Moriah of Emerson. She was the sister to Beegie (Joe) Drummond of El Dorado, Shirley (Michael) Leveritt of Morrilton, and Tommy (Amber) McLeese of El Dorado.

Lynn was a 1989 graduate of El Dorado High School and graduate of South Arkansas Community College. Lynn was a member of Westside Baptist Church where she taught and was assistant director of the preschool for the last 17 years. She will be greatly missed by her “kids”, numerous family members, friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be 10 am, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Eldon Swenson and Rev. G.R. Collier officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery near Spearsville, LA. The family will receive friends at Young Funeral Directors Wednesday evening from 6pm – 8pm.
