Louise was born Nina Louise Ellington on September 8, 1926 in Paragould, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Elmo Wenston Bryan; one infant son; parents Roy Ellington and Laura Ellington Richardson; brother Clifford Ellington, sister Pauline Runa, and granddaughter, Kristin Arendt.
She is survived by two daughters Carol Arendt (Richard) of Junction City, AR and Brenda Bryan-Wood (Richard Wood) of Plano, TX;stepdaughter, Donelda Hart of Sturgis, granddaughters Janet Buchhammer, Carissa Brown, and Laura Howard; grandson William Arendt and 10 great grandchildren.
Louise was a resident of the Rocky Branch area near Rogers, Arkansas from 1972 – 2017 where she was a regular attendee of the Bland Chapel United Methodist Church. After relocating to Junction City, AR she attended West Side Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR.
In the 1940’s, Louise relocated to Detroit, MI. She worked as a Beautician until she married, and then she was a homemaker living in Riverview, MI for 23 years. Louise enjoyed oil painting, was an excellent cook and could make any plant grow.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday September 14th at Resthaven Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas with Pastor Cody Lain of Westside Baptist Church leading the service.
