Linda Evans

Linda Evans, 71 of Smackover, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born March 9, 1944, to Frank and Bertie Coleman Brown in Dubach, LA. Linda was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; one brother, Stanley “Buster” Brown; and five sisters, Geraldine Stevenson, Edna Jo Otwell, Allie Mae Tilley, Grace Henry, and Christine Brown.

Survivors include her three daughters, Bonnie Wyles, Patricia Bates, Christine Evans; two granddaughters, Crystal Haynes (Andrew), Leslie Nicole Smith; two great grandchildren, Ashley Haynes, Drew Haynes; one sister, Frankie Roberson; one brother, Ted Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. tonight at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Young’s Chapel under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Mike McConaughy officiating. A private family burial will be held in Dubach, LA.
