Born on May 13, 1922, in Detonti, AR, she was the youngest child of Claude and Alice Holliman Bullock. Ima was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church. She retired from Krogers after 25 years, and she was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union. Ima was a loving grandmother and caregiver for her family and enjoyed gardening along with her two cats and four dogs.
Ima was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and six brothers; a daughter, Debbie Walker; and husbands, Bert Cotton and Marvin “Tom” Wright.
Survivors are a son, Dr. John B. Cotton of McAlester, OK; a stepdaughter, La Nell Hall of W. Monroe, LA. Along with eight grandchildren including Christie (Lance) Swearengin, and Sarah Walker both of El Dorado, John D Cotton of McAlester, OK and Lora Cotton (Ken Graham) of Tulsa, OK ; and eight great grandchildren including Hillary Dickson, Haley Dickson, and Alexis Rowland all of El Dorado; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Danny Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm.
