Kevin was born to Carsten Bernard Reese and Isabel Linda Jackman in Newport, Rhode Island, November 21, 1949. When he was fourteen, he met the love of his life Bonnie out in San Diego at the boys and girls aide. Together they made a beautiful life, and had three wonderful girls, Lisa Dawn, Robin April, and Crystyll Brooke. They were married on October 15, 1966. Kevin supported his family from the young age of 14 by driving a trash truck. He moved on and started working at R.W. Little, where he learned how to paint, powder coat and sandblast. He used this knowledge and commitment to open his own successful business in 1983, El Dorado Sandblasting. He loved to go there early in the morning and read the newspaper and talk with all the customers. Kevin had a strong work ethic and was a man of his word. He was always there to help those who were in need. During the lakeside flood in the 70’s he used his jeep to help tow people out of the mud and water. Kevin had a love for plants and a true green thumb, he knew how to grow just about anything. He was proud of his yard and that is where you would find him, if he was not at work he would be tending to his plants and pool or watching westerns. Kevin loved his country and would usually spend the 4th of July with his family at the Del Mar Fair eating a turkey leg and corn on the cob! Kevin and Bonnie enjoyed bringing their children, parents and even their grandchildren on educational trips around the country, seeing the California Redwoods and the Golden Gate Bridge was always included among many more beautiful and historical places Kevin was always the camera man taking pictures of all the beautiful scenery.
