Al was predeceased by his parents Eleanor Joyce Dickison & Thomas Dickison.
He is survived by his only child, Nicole Hauck and 2 Grandchildren, Isaiah and Hannah Devries; his brothers Rick Dickison, Ron Dickison and sister Kathy Findlater.
Although Al struggled through his early adult years, he was able to turn his life around and find an immense amount of joy in his sobriety. In doing so, he also found a passion working for the Salvation Army in both Ontario and then Calgary, helping others who struggled.
