Susan Ann Doris Murray

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Ann Doris Murray on December 4, 2024, at the age of 48. Susan passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on April 24, 1976, in Edmonton, Alberta, Susan was the cherished daughter of Arthur Murray and Ann (Fahner) Murray. She was a beloved sister to David (Jamie Popowich), Ted, and John, as well as a loving Auntie to Haydynn and Haylee.

Though her time with us was brief, Susan left a lasting impact on the many lives she touched. She is lovingly remembered by her extended family, including her Auntie Annette and Danny Larlee (Tasha and Robert), her Uncle Junior Ernest Murray (Peter and William) as well as numerous friends who she loved like family.

Susan was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ann, along with her grandparents, Earl and Doris (Lister) Fahner and Ernest and Doris (Clarkson) Murray.

The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care and unwavering support provided by the doctors, nurses, and staff at the University of Alberta Hospital during Susan’s final weeks. Their kindness and dedication offered comfort and peace to Susan and her loved ones during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Hainstock’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810 - 34 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 6L1.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Kidney Foundation of Northern Alberta or encourages signing your organ donor card in Susan's honour.

Susan’s memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love, kindness, and spirit she shared will continue to inspire and live on in her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
