She is now reunited with her daughter, Kathleen Rose Norris and siblings, Wilfred Anderson, Frieda Anderson, Orville “Bud” Anderson, Calvin Anderson, and Joanie. Myrna will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Kevin Norris and Kenneth Norris; daughter, Kimberly Ann Norris; and grand-daughter, Dayla Rose Norris. Also being cherished and loved by her other siblings, Arthur Anderson, Muriel David, Eileen Anderson, and Gary Anderson. She was predeceased by both her parents, John Walter Anderson and Jane Mary Anderson (Nee-McNab).
Myrna was 44 years sober at time of passing, and loved and respected the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. She always said that it had saved her life. She had a passion for travelling, dancing and helping others in need. She had a no nonsense, stubborn personality that got her nicknamed by her youngest son “Pain in the Ass”. She had previously bought an R.V and travelled by herself around the U.S.A and Canada before finally settling down in retirement in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, where she lived with her youngest son and caregiver.
There will be a private viewing and private funeral service. A celebration of life will be held later in the year for people who wish to pay their respects.
