Marek Piotr Migas

On September 30, 2024 at 9:30 pm, after four year battle with cancer, Mark passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family holding his wife's hand. He is survived by his wife Grazyna, stepdaughter Sylvia (Anthony), son Artur, sister Ewa, grandchildren Melea, Naya and Tomek, nephew Patrick, niece Nicole and many friends.

Mark was born on November 4,1953 in Krakow Poland. He was a proud Krakowiak till the end. He was a man with a huge personality and a loud and infectious laugh. Music was his life. The Beatles, The Shadows, Bee Gees, Pod Buda, and Wilki were some of his favorite bands. He loved playing guitar, singing and dancing.

He was a huge Oilers fan, wouldn't miss watching or listening to the game. Travelling to the Caribbean, lounging on the beach with a cold beer in his hand was his idea of relaxing. Mark loved his family and grandchildren to no end and would do anything for them. All of his doggos are now happy to have their master with them. Odpoczywaj w Spokoju (Rest In Peace).

A prayer service for Marek will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 7:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (Polish) - Kosciól Rózanca Swietego, 11485 106 St, Edmonton, AB. An interment Burial to follow the service at the Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.
