Lisa was born in Cold Lake, Alberta to Anne and Joe Primeau on April 29, 1965.
Lisa worked at the U of A Bookstore where she met her late husband, Ted Holmes, to whom she was married for 20 years.
Lisa was predeceased by her husband Ted in 2021 and by her mother, Anne Primeau in 2012.
Lisa and Ted did not have children; however, Lisa was especially fond of dogs, and they parented many dogs together over the years.
Lisa received her Master Gardener certificate from U of A and was very proud of her yard, having been a Communities in Bloom nominate for many years. She was also an extremely talented artist and spent countless hours painting and drawing. She was an avid reader and music lover and had a terrific sense of humor.
Lisa is survived by her father, Joseph Primeau (Lynda Milne), her sister, Jacky Primeau, her brothers Terry Primeau and Dan Primeau (Wanda Ferguson), and by her nieces Jessie Bossert (Maxime Roy) and Justine Ferguson, and her nephews, Dylan Bossert, Nolan Bossert, Joe Primeau, Andrew Primeau, David Primeau and TJ Primeau, as well as nieces and nephews from her late husband’s side of the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Laurier Park in Edmonton, Alberta in July 2023, date yet to be determined – email Jacky Primeau at [email protected] for details.
