It is with great sadness the family of Leo announce his passing after a long illness on September 8, 2017. Leo is survived by his loving wife of nearly 53 years, June; his children, Darrell (Christine), Corinne (Duane) Moulding; grandchildren, Kayleen (Ryan), Michael (Tristyn), Mitchell, Kiersten and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Tenley; his eight siblings; as well as many extended family members and friends; Leo was predeceased by his daughter, Roxanne; sister, Cecile Magnan; his parents, Rhea and Marcel Demers; and his in-laws, Gladys and Eli Shaw. The family expresses a special thank you to the attending paramedics and all the staff at unit 54 Grey Nuns who looked after him and Dr. P.C.K. Yong and the pharmacy staff at Imagine Health Centre. Memorial donations in Leo’s honour may be made to the palliative care unit at the Grey Nuns Hospital or the Humane Society. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church, 4905-50 Street Beaumont,
Alberta.
