1930 – 2014
It is with great sadness we announce that Hans J. Frueh of Edmonton passed away at home surrounded by family on November 30, 2014. Hans is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Keiko; daughter Dorothy (Rob); grandchildren Derek and Brenna; sisters Uta (Frank) and Eva (Reinhard); brother Gunar as well as numerous nephews and nieces in Germany. He is predeceased by daughter Barbara.
Hans was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1951. He was an avid Ham Operator (VE8BM & VE6FA) until moving into a condo in 2006. He enjoyed travelling and spending time at the cottage.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday December 20, 2014 at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810 34 Avenue Edmonton AB.
