Darren was born in Calgary in 1961, spent his younger years in Richmond before The Smith family moved to Peachland in the late 1970's. After decades of moving throughout BC and Alberta he eventually settled in Prince George in the early 2000's.
He is predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Winifred (Wava) Smith, twin brother Darrell and sisters Teresa and Cindy.
He is survived and forever remembered by his partner Lorraine, children Jason (Sarah), Austin, Brittny and grandson Tucker, sister Tracey: nieces, nephews.
In honor of his final wishes Darren's remains will be taken back to Peachland July long weekend, June28-July 1, 2025. All who are able are invited to gather in his memory.
