It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Campbell family announces the passing of Cathy Lynne Campbell on September 19, 2024.
She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Charlene (Paul) St. Jean, her loving granddaughters, Elizabeth St. Jean and Isabella St. Jean, and her son, James Campbell. She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Bill Campbell.
Cathy also leaves behind her sister, Carol Ramey. Along with the sadness of leaving her niece Amanda (Trent) Bradley and their children Keegan and Gabriel Rumak, and niece, Jennifer (Robert) Brereton and their children, Alexandria, Harrison, Dorothy, and Liam, she also leaves behind numerous friends whom she loved very much.
Cathy was predeceased by her loving parents, Harrison and Dorothy Ramey.
Cathy was born in Didsbury, Alberta. She then continued her journey with her loving parents and sister and moved to Boyle, Alberta, where she finished high school and then moved onto a college degree in Early Childhood Education. After succeeding in her schooling, she meet her loving husband, Bill, in Boyle. Cathy and Bill got married in the spring of 1990; they lived in town for a few years raising their two children and then moved out of Boyle in 1994. They purchased a house by the lake, living there happily for many years where they had lots of family gatherings and did lake activities; Cathy would do crafts with anyone who would join her, and made delicious meals, always offering food to whoever came through. She also took great pride in watching both Charlene and James complete their schooling.
Cathy's favourite saying was never "goodbye", just "when are you coming home again".
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
