Alan Joseph Pringle

Alan Joseph Pringle passed on July 2, 2023 at the age of 67 in Edmonton after spending several days surrounded by family and friends. Alan started in Glasgow, Scotland, before being born to the late Edward and Sheena (Mellon) Pringle in Ocean Falls, British Columbia. Alan spent most of his working years as a Ship loader at a Pulp and Paper Mill in Gold River, and later as a Shipper/Receiver in Edmonton. Alan was game for any adventure, and all those lucky enough to know him will miss his quick wit and humour.

Alan is survived by his wife of 18 years; Jan Farquharson, his children; Jordon (Anna) and Kyla Pringle, and stepchildren; Judith Farquharson and Amanda Robitaille (Ryan). He was a loving brother to Eddie and Ken Pringle (Alison). Doting Granpa to Kaydence, Ryley, Alice, Korbin, Hazel and Nora.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 15:00-18:00 at the Hainstock Funeral Home. An additional celebration will be held in Gold River, British Columbia at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alberta Cancer Foundation.

Celebration of Life will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium 9810 34th Ave Edmonton, AB Friday, July 14th, 2023 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. It is an open house and all are welcome to attend.
