Steve Kevin Barker, age 61, passed away December 28, 2017 at home with family at his side. He was born April 25, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Walter and Dora Barker. He was an Oklahoma University graduate for Accounting, though he used his gift with numbers for census site analysis for supermarket construction. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; Son, John; Daughter, Angela and sisters Carol and Neva as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve was known for his devotion to family, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable and have a good time. He loved to joke and laugh, and his smile would light up the room. He most enjoyed family, fishing, and music. Visitation will be held Friday, January 5th from 4pm-8pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Steve are invited to the Memorial Park Funeral Home at 13313 N Kelley Ave. OKC, OK 73131 at 12pm on Saturday January 6th, 2018 to reminisce, grieve, and support each other. The service will be held at 2pm at the Historic Chapel across the street.
