Stephen Dwight Davis of Edmond died in the loving presence of his family, at home, on June 17, 2011. Dwight retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in 1997 after 30 years of service. Dwight was a passionate connoisseur of country music and loved to play, sing, listen and dance to his old time favorites. Dwight also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, custom trikes, and was a fervent member of the NRA. Dwight loved to hunt and fish and often traveled to western Oklahoma to hunt with family. Dwight is survived by his wife Bonnie; daughter Sheila Lynn Dawkins of Midwest City; son Stephen Dwight Davis Jr. of Edmond; 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. The family will conduct a private service at his home in southern Logan County.
