Shanna was born on Saint Patrick's Day 1974. She was a happy baby and child. She never got in much trouble. If she got hurt or mad she didn't want you to hold her or kiss it and make it better. You had to leave her alone until she was over for it. Shanna liked dogs better than she did most people. There was always a dog in the house for her entire life. When she was little she even had a pet chicken. She put baby clothes on it and would pull it around in her wagon. That was definitely a unique smell, stinky kid and chicken. When she was older Grandpa bought a big tricycle. Shanna would put her dog in the basket and ride around the neighborhood with her.
Shanna went to private Christian Schools until middle school. She was afraid to go to public schools because she thought it would be like on the TV show Welcome Back Kotter. Shanna had a quiet loving spirit. She had a quick smile and warm hugs. Sometimes she could be very silly making googly eyes at you or sticking out her tongue. Shanna’s best friend was her brother. He was the one that she shared with, confided in, vented to and sometimes yelled at.
Shanna loved her family especially her mom and dad. She was their caregiver for several years and was always there for them. Her absence will be greatly felt. She is loved by her family and our hearts are broken but there's no doubt that there was celebration in heaven the day she went Home.
Shanna is survived by parents Marvin and Felta Davis; sister, Regina Trosclair and husband Phillip; brother, Mikell Davis; nephew, Brandon Boling and wife Sarah; niece, Joy Tarver and husband John; nephew, Tyler Boling and fiance Rainy Shrum: great nephews, Logan Boling, Johnathan Tarver and Oliver Boling; great nieces, Jordan Tarver and Evie Boling; fur babies, Jasper and Toby
We'll see you in a little while Shanna. Love you.
