Rowan (Tiffany Bolfer) Avriel Darling

Rowan Avriel Darling, born March 31,1993 as Tiffany Leanne Bolfer passed from this earth October 9, 2024 at the age of 31. Rowan transitioned on June 29, 2023 and legally changed their name to reflect that new life on November 2, 2023. Rowan resided in Oklahoma City, OK with Partner John Killingsworth.

Rowan was born as Tiffany, the third child of Tommy J. Bolfer,of Texarkana, Texas, and Kathy L. Walker of Edmond, OK in Texarkana, Texas. Rowan/Tiffany also leaves behind their Stepmother Samantha, Stepfather Clifford, siblings Tommy Lee Bolfer and Partner Loran Taff of New Castle, DE, Jarret Bolfer, wife Sarah and daughter Rebekah of Edmond, OK, Vincent Bolfer of Edmond, OK, Devin Bolfer of Edmond, OK, Step-siblings Roger Lasiter of Texarkana, TX, and Tabitha Abbe of Van Buren, AR, Aunt Charlene Bolfer, Uncle James Ray Bolfer, both of Texarkana, TX, Grandmother Helen O'Connor of Edmond, OK and a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Rowan/Tiffany is preceded by Grandparents Richard V. Giles, Sr and Faye Rene (Hinton) Giles, James “Jimmy” Bolfer and Mary Ann (Richard) Bolfer, and Grandfather Robert O'Connor.

Rowan's early life as Tiffany included being the only daughter in a home with two brothers either side in age. As one might imagine, they were protective older brothers and pesky younger brothers! Rowan/Tiffany enjoyed music, clothing, makeup/skincare, and reading. Early in life Rowan/Tiffany showed talent for singing. As a child she began singing in church and further honed this skill in Choral Music at North High School in Edmond, OK. Many competitions at both local and state level saw them winning top points and securing positions in the State Choir before graduating in 2011. They also found a position performing in a local choir for a year and they continued their love for music and singing with karaoke as a social highlight. Rowan/Tiffany was also trained as a licensed esthetician by Francis Tuttle Technology Center. They had a great passion and generosity for helping others any way they could.

Rowan/Tiffany started dating her soulmate John March 14, 2015. They became engaged March 3,2021. The two traveled many life paths together including both sickness and health, in which John loved and cared for Rowan unselfishly and unreservedly. John's love and support would help Rowan through several health issues, including the transition. The love they share transcends all things.

We will all miss the person they were and the person they had become. From princess Tiffany, songbird and diva, to the fierce, generous and passionate Rowan up to their final moment, our world is dimmer for their loss.

Memorial services for Rowan/Tiffany will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway Edmond, Oklahoma.
