Manuel Edward “Mark” Kuta, 83, of Edmond, Ok passed away on April 4, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was son of Willie Joe and Rose Kuta of Montgomery, TX. After high school, he attended Texas A&M University majoring in Agriculture. He owned a feed mill in Crockett, TX, before moving the family to Tucson, AZ where he worked at Copper State Chemical Co. while obtaining his Master’s degree at the University of Arizona so he could teach high school agriculture classes. He worked his way up to a National Sales Manager position, living also in New York, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Iowa and Texas again, before moving to Oklahoma in 2007. He was a good husband, excellent dad, great provider, honest and fair.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by the love of his life, Theresa Mae Kuta, whom he married on November 5, 1955. He is survived by his daughter and husband Kathy and Rick Ault of Edmond, OK; son and wife, Mark and Flavia Kuta of Denver, CO; son and wife Dane and Tomoko Kuta of San Diego, CA; granddaughter and husband, Kelsey and Chris LaPlante; grandsons, Andrew Ault, Nicholas Ault and Calvin Kuta; granddaughters, Daniela Kuta and Cristina Kuta; great grandchildren, Jackson LaPlante, Mackenzie LaPlante, Dawson LaPlante; sister and husband, Mary and Valentine Mock; sister, Frances Swonke and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Baggerley Funeral Home 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, with interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery.
