James E. Vaughn, Jr. of Luther, OK passed away peacefully on December 13, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born to James E. Vaughn, sr. and Emma Jayne (Ramseyer) Vaughn in Guthrie, OK on February 27, 1943, and he was raised in Crescent, OK. James was a retired appliance and electronics salesman and worked for several appliance wholesalers and retailers in the Oklahoma City area.
Survivors include his children, James E. Vaughn, III of Oklahoma City; Heidi L. Vaughn of Luther, OK; Gretchen A. Sullins and husband Steve of Edmond, OK; Nicholas L. Vaughn of Luther; and two grandsons, Tristan Vaughn of Luther, OK and Connor Sullins of Edmond, OK. James is also survived by his ex-wife Jan Loman of Luther; his brother William Vaughn and wife Jane of Higginsville, MO; and his niece, Elizabeth Oetting of Concordia, MO., as well as several extended family members.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 18, 2015 at the Baggerley Funeral Home located at 930 S. Broadway in Edmond, OK. A reception will follow the service at the same location.
