Heather was born on September 21, 1959 to John Merrill Daly and Alma Lillian Daly in Duncan, OK. Heather played tennis and graduated from Northwest Classen then played tennis at Oklahoma City University. She was an avid tennis player her whole life.
She was a naturally gifted athlete that felt most at home on a tennis or pickleball court. She loved the competition and overall energy of a tournament or match, but we know it was the friendships and love she created and embraced within the sports community that will always be remembered.
Heather was a loving, passionate, and charismatic soul that walked with God and laughed with family and friends everyday. Whether it was helping someone find their own place to call home or teaching a beginner the basics of pickleball, Heather was always there to help. She cherished the moments she was able to spend with various groups of friends and would always laugh when retelling stories of vacations, road trips, and the annual reunion at Grand Lake.
She was a member of Waterloo Road Baptist church where she was active in Sunday School and women’s bible studies. She enjoyed being surrounded and supported by her church family as she continued her daily walk with God. Heather was also an active member of the Greater Oklahoma City Pickleball Club where she often volunteered to monitor courts and was always willing to help a newcomer to the sport.
She was a devoted mother who loved her two boys, Kenneth “Kenny” and John “Andy” Peacher. She actively participated in her son’s sports activities from the moment they could walk. Mom showed up early to every game to pray for her boy’s safety. She came to Los Angeles often and loved hanging out with her boys on pacific coast time.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Lee Peacher III and John Andrew Peacher; sister, Cheri Beckmon; brothers, John Daly and Mark Daly; cousins, Tom Klecak and Kim Klecak; nieces, Melanie Lewis, Amanda Burbridge, Shara Wasserman, Melissa DeMarsh-Beckmon, Alicia Kiser, Hanna Daly; nephews, Jason Daly, Khal Daly, Brian Daly.
