She was born to John Henry Hamersley and Hattie Agnes Wakeman on January 19, 1916 in Okarchie, Oklahoma. She spent much of her childhood life in Kingfisher, Oklahoma where she met her husband George H. Frazier. They raised their family in Oklahoma City, where Pauline worked at Tinker Airforce Base as a Civilian Statistical Analyst, a very prestigious job title for a woman during that time. She retired Tinker Airforce Base in 1974 after a 30 year career. Pauline was a very well rounded woman. She played the organ, balanced family budgets, counseled her family on all matters of business, worked in the yard, studied interior design, and raised and nurtured a loving family. Her family could always count on her for sound advice, clear guidance, and for support in all things.
She is preceded in death her husband; parents; and grandson, Michael Bassett.
She is survived by her only child, daughter, BeVelle Marquart; brother, Jim Wakeman (Deanie); grandchildren, Stephen Bassett (Elissa); Cliff Marquart (Sara), Jan Waller, Jean Kigar (Dave), and Steven Marquart (Beth); 18 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Baggerley Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome or you may wish to make a donation to Integris Hospice of Oklahoma or a charity of your choice. Pauline’s family will have a private burial of her cremated remains at Kingfisher Cemetery.
