Doris was an entrepreneur and started her own business, Diamond Vending Supply, and was her own boss for many years. After she retired she enjoyed shopping, quilting and embroidery. Some of the items she loved to shop for were teapots, Royal Doulton figurines and Indian art she was a big collector of these items.
Doris is preceded in death by her sisters Jaunita Burnett and Blanchie Ruth Carey; brother Deffert Burnett; and parents Deffert and Maudie Burnett.
She is survived by her son, Rodney Adams; daughter, Paula Porter and husband Mike; brother, Gordan Burnett and wife Ronnie; grandchildren, Beth Thomas and husband Harold, Matthew Adams and wife LeiLani, and Rachel Adams; great grandchildren, Taylor and Brandon Kinney, Alicia and Deanna DeLeon, Kaydence, Karissa, Kirsten Kelsey, Kristian Thomas, Rio Adams, Ethan and Jackson Adams; great great grandchildren Maisie Kinney, and Zavier Davis; step grandchildren Ryan Porter, Clint Porter and wife Leslie, Rachel Porter, and Rebecca Pomeroy and husband Jeff; step great grandchildren Elicia Porter, Journee Porter, Grant Porter, Wrenna Porter, and Prudence Pomeroy.
A visitation for Doris will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK. A graveside service will occur Monday, February 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
